Terms of Service
What you are buying, what we will do, what we will not do, and where you stand if something goes wrong. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

Protegy is operated by Protegy Solutions, based in Texas, United States. In these terms “we” and “Protegy” mean Protegy Solutions, and “you” means the person or business buying the service.
By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to do so.
Protegy is offered only to businesses located in the United States. By creating an account or making a purchase you confirm that your business is based in the US.
Tax, privacy and consumer rules differ from country to country, and we have built this for the US. Rather than take your money and get those wrong, we have kept it to where we can do it properly. If you are outside the US and want this, write to us — it tells us where to open next.
A one-time business analysis, priced at the amount shown at checkout. It consists of:
The analysis is generated from what you tell us during the interview. It is not an audit, an inspection, or a visit. Nobody comes to your premises and nobody examines your books.
The interview is the only source of information about your business. If a step is left out, described inaccurately, or glossed over, the analysis will reflect that. We cannot find what you do not mention.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide, and for having the right to share it with us.
Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
You can have a full refund at any point before you start your analysis. Once you begin the analysis — the step labelled “Finish & Analyze” — the work has been performed and the purchase is no longer refundable.
We chose that line because it is one you control and can see. Up to that moment you have received nothing and can change your mind. After it, the analysis has run and the report exists.
To request a refund before starting, email [email protected] from the address on your account.
Where we offer subscription plans, the price, billing period and cancellation terms for those plans are shown at the point of purchase and apply in addition to these terms.
The analysis is informational. It is not legal, accounting, tax, financial, employment, insurance or regulatory advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.
Recommendations may touch on subjects with legal or financial consequences — how people are paid, how records are kept, what insurance or licences a business holds. Treat those as prompts to get proper advice, not as the advice itself.
Decisions you make about your business remain yours. We do not accept responsibility for the outcome of acting on a recommendation.
Your report is produced by AI models working from your interview. That means it can contain errors: a step in the wrong order, a misread of something you said, a figure estimated rather than stated, a recommendation that does not fit your situation.
Where a duration or a figure has been estimated rather than taken from your own words, the report marks it as such, and you can correct it. Check anything you intend to act on.
We do not warrant that the analysis is complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Your business information stays yours. Your interview, your workflow map and your report belong to you. We claim no ownership of them, and we do not sell, rent or license them.
You grant us permission to process that content in order to produce and store your report, and to let you reach it again from your dashboard.
We may use de-identified business information to improve Protegy. That means testing and improving the interview, the analysis and the accuracy of the reports, using content with names, business names and contact details removed. We do not use identifiable client information for this, and we do not use your content to train third-party AI models.
The software, the interview design, the report formats and everything else that makes up Protegy remain ours.
Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Do not use Protegy to break the law, to submit information you have no right to share, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your profile, interviews and reports from our database immediately and cannot be undone. Copies may persist briefly in encrypted infrastructure backups, which are overwritten within fourteen days.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund any unused portion of what you paid.
We aim to keep Protegy available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The product depends on third parties — payment processing, authentication, AI processing and hosting — and an outage at any of them can interrupt it.
If an outage prevents you from starting an analysis you have paid for, tell us and we will either make it right or refund you.
Our total liability to you, for any claim arising out of Protegy, is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, or losses arising from decisions made on the basis of the analysis.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Protegy after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of that state.

How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, with a plain-English summary on our Privacy Practices page.
